Lakewood Tigers Youth Wrestling (Grades 1-8)

Tiger Youth Wrestling is the youth program for kids in first through eighth grade in Lakewood, teaching everything from basic techniques to advanced strategies in an engaging environment that encourages kids to learn and compete. Preseason practices began October 7 and the regular season runs into late February. Practices are Tuesday and Thursday from 6:00 to 7:00pm in the Lakewood High School wrestling room in the East Atrium at 9700 W 8th Avenue, with a Wednesday session at the same time for advanced wrestlers. Registration for preseason and the regular season is open, and families are invited to the TeamSnap group for schedules and communication. The coaches are there to develop kids as people and as wrestlers.
